Michael Feinstein hosts this documentary of a quintessentially American composer, who not only composed the scores for legendary films such as The Big Country and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and famous musicals like The Golden Apple and Gentlemen Be Seated, but also wrote innovative ballets, chamber and orchestral music, and a highly original opera, Sorry, Wrong Number.
