Humana Festival - Ground

Actors Theatreof Louisville’s artistic director Mark Masterson directs Ground in this year’s Humana Festival of New American Plays. Written by Lisa Dillman, it tells the story of community on the US side near this country’s border with Mexico and reveals a history that politics has deeply altered. In this interview with WFPL’s Elizabeth Kramer, Masterson talks about why he chose this play for the festival and how he relates to some of the characteristics of the community it depicts. "Ground" runs through March 28 in the Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
