The Third Season of the Sanctuary series at Christ Church United Methodist opens Sunday September 25 at 7 pm with members of the Louisville Orchestra joining Christ Church instrumentalists to perform the Guilmant Symphony #1 for Organ and Orchestra under the direction of Melanie Williams-Sublett with Dan Stokes at the organ. The Chancel Choir sings settings of Psalms composed and orchestrated by English composer John Rutter. Michael Bolden sings Gounod’s Sanctus with a mass choir including members of our community. Congregational singing will also be a feature.
Sanctuary Shuttle Servicee from the Summit Office Park is located at 4350 Brownsboro Road to insure adequate parking for all who wish to attend. The shuttle will begin running one hour prior to and immediately following the concert. You will be picked up and dropped off at your car.
