This year’s concerts “The Yearning Within Our Hearts” features the church’s 130 voice Chancel Choir, two handbell choirs and a 25 piece orchestra including members of the Louisville Orchestra. Centered on the singing of traditional carols, the program also includes choral music of Verdi, Pinkham and Clausen, along with a six-part men’s setting of an exciting Kenyan, “Alleluia” with African Drums. The three programs are Sunday, December 11th 5:00pm, Wednesday December 14th 7:30pm and Tuesday December 20 7:30pm Christ Church United Methodist is located at 4614 Brownsboro Road.
